Three questions run through his work
Much of health care leans on drugs and procedures. His research asks what that leaves out: the psychological factors behind illness and recovery, and the ethics of studying them.

How psychological and social factors shape wellbeing in resource-limited settings, especially Nigeria, and why culture matters when defining wellness or illness.
